Asha has seen ten changes of Prime Minister since she migrated to Australia with her parents when she was five years old. This has only enhanced her deep fascination with politics.
Born in the tiny Sultanate of Brunei, Asha is a South Asian-Australian writer of fiction and creative nonfiction, and a freelance editor. She’s also a contributing editor at both Dead Housekeeping and YeahWrite.
Asha has called some far flung places home, and currently lives near the beach in Western Australia. She is working on several short stories, some flash fiction pieces, and a novel set in the Perth hills.
When she’s not writing, editing or judging writing competitions, you’ll find her walking her teacup schnauzer (that her husband insists is more a teapot schnauzer), swimming or winning imaginary arguments.
