About Asha

Asha Rajan is a Malayalee-Australian writer of (primarily) short stories and personal essays, who just can’t quit flash fiction and novels. She is a contributing editor at the online literary micro-essay blog, Dead Housekeeping, and at the online writing community, YeahWrite.

Asha is also a freelance editor who’s interested in a wide variety of editing projects.

She completed writing a cosy mystery novella in 2018 which is in edits, and is currently working on a novel set in the hills of Perth, Western Australia. She freely admits to being in servitude to her teacup schnauzer (that her husband insists is more aptly described as a teapot schnauzer).

Asha lives on Whadjuk, Noongar land, which was never ceded. She acknowledges the elders of this land; past, present, and those who are currently emerging. Always was, always will be.
